Consistent Quality We have contracted with Schaul's for different services- from purchasing their holiday turkeys and hams for employee gifts, small business lunches, employee buffets and our 75th Anniversary celebration in which we had 400 attendees. I've always been happy with the staff and the quality of the food. Their presentation has been spot on. Employees always go out of their way to help with anything that you need while setting up for an event.

Our company used Schaul's for the Chase Corporate Challenge on May 23. The service leading up to the event was great. The day of the event, the ice and coolers we paid for were not delivered to our tent. I actually was able to speak to our rep, Andrew, at the event and he was very nice and apologetic and promised to get our credit processed. I have since sent two emails asking for our credit to be processed; and copied the Account Executive with no response. I find it incredibly frustrating to be treated this way. We will definitely not use again nor recommend their services to anyone. Aside from the horrible follow-up service, Schaul's has a decent selection of catering selections. The sandwiches were mediocre but it was a good value for the amount of food you got.

I used Schaul's twice in the last few years and each was a disaster. Both times I had scheduled breakfast at my clients office in Skokie for around 70 people. I also invited senior Mgmt inside my organization as this was a important client. Schauls embarrassed my company and hurt my reputation with this client. On both occasions - Schaul's sent the driver to my billing address in Glendale Hts - Not in Skokie. How do you do this TWICE!! The driver had the correct delivery address but only read the billing. He arrived at my office just before he was due in Skokie. Then he had to drive in rush hour traffic and was 1.5 hrs late by the time the food was setup. 2 years later, I still have people that remember the "breakfasts" that didn't show up. I should have not given them the opportunity the second time. I have had times when things went wrong and I have asked my customers to give me a second chance. I guess I was trying to return the favor. Schaul's apologized and offered some credits, but I learned two lessons. 1. Never book with Schaul's 2. Never give a business a second chance out of pity.

These people are fantastic. Panera wanted $12 per boxed lunch, and I was able to get amazing lunches for 230 people for under $5.75 each. They were professional to work with, food arrived on time, and was delicious. I'm really surprised at the other review, because they were great.

My daughter and I used Schaul's for a surprise birthday party this weekend. I can't say enough good things about everyone associated with the company, from start to finish. Jill helped make all the arrangements for the food, the tent, the tables and chairs, everything. She was extremely helpful and accommodating. She called several times in the days leading up to the party to make sure we were all set, called the day of the party to make sure everything was delivered on time, and called the day after the party to see how things went. The day of the party, Victoria and Todd showed up hours early to set things up and to start cooking. The food was fabulous and there was a TON of it. They left 7 hours later, having cleaned everything up. They couldn't have been more friendly, professional, and helpful. Such a great experience. I highly recommend Schaul's. You won't be disappointed.

The selection was very very rich and the food was well prepared and tasty. Linda, the sales rep I dealt with, was extremely accommodating and professional in planning our 50-guests event. All in all, I'd highly recommend them and use them again in future events.
